Aaron's love of theatre started in the late 80's when as a fresh faced teenager he made his professional debut as Friedrich Von Trapp in the Mercury Theatre production of The Sound of Music.
His ability extends beyond most performers and encompasses a myriad of talents from an accomplished Ice Figure Skater, a smooth bass/baritone singer, a TV actor to an exciting up-and-coming theatre director. He has performed in dozens of theatre productions over the years.
Aaron created and directed a musical theatre revue called The Red Chair which received rave reviews. He has a strong passion for Cabaret as an art form and devotes a lot of time in creating new concepts to workshop and develop for stage performance.
Aaron played the guest role of Nico Reed on TV2's long running drama Shortland Street and was a featured soloist in a series of fundraising concerts for the Northern Area Performance and Theatre Awards (NAPTA), of which he was a nominee for Best Featured Male. Aaron is assisted Jennifer Ward-Lealand, director of the Silo Theatre's production of The Mystery of Irma Vep, featuring Michael Hurst and Oliver Driver. Aaron's favourite role so far is Le Fou from Beauty and the Beast.
Aaron received his training at Unitec, Auckland and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Performance and Screen Arts. He is well mastered in a variety of accents.
